Houdini to the rescue once again. A little while ago my key got stuck in the ignition of my 2007 Honda Odyssey. At wits end as I was stuck and BCAA could not help me, I reached out to Houdini and he was there in 30 minutes. No problem, he got the key out and I was able to drive home. Yesterday, my key got stuck in my driver side door. I tried and tried, again BCAA could not help me. Luckily, I remembered Houdini. I called him on Sunday morning, he told me that he had one job ahead of me but he’d be there in about an hour. He came, got my key out, fixed the lock and got me 2 new fob keys as well. Houdini is not cheap but he is good, polite and does an amazing job and for me Houdini is not the escape artist but the guy to call if you have any lock issues, whether it be your car or your home. ~ Bob H

Had my wallet and keys stolen, gentlemen came to me within a very reasonable wait time, just to make me a new key and fob for my vehicle, within an hour and on the same day! he was accommodating, understanding and knowledgeable of his work, he also had the best prices in town! Saved me a weeks wait as well! Better than the dealerships! Most wanted to wait 10 days, and a day for install of coding a fob! And over charge for a key cut! Hard to find guy these days that won’t over charge and be over price and have an integrity. great gentlemen and workmanshipz. And may I say again very well and fair priced. Thank you Houdini! I called Houdini Locksmith a few nights ago as my old Weiser lock seized to work, due to the cold weather. I was immediately dispatched to a technician in the field and I had a friendly gentleman at my door in under 10 minutes. It was a cold winter night and I was locked out of my home. Got accidentally locked out of our apartment unit with the keys left inside. Despite being a Sunday evening, Houdini Locksmith picked up the call and assured that they'll send someone as soon as possible. They were very clear in communicating the service offered and the cost. Israel came and re-keyed a door for me, and I had a very good experience. He was communicative and prompt. About 2 months later I was having some issues with the lock (now we know they are likely unrelated to the re-keying) and he came back just in case to make sure that everything was working smoothly. I really appreciated that and it shows that he stands by his work. He fixed it for me and didn’t charge me for coming back to check up. I really appreciated his work. Had 2 key fobs (key ignition start) for a 2011 Acura set-up at my house within 24hrs of calling - they were technically sound, super nice and very fast in cutting, programming and testing the fobs. They fobs do seem like a higher quality than the last time I had this done (4 years ago) and those ones started falling apart in less than 2 years. Time will tell but initially very good feel. ~ Kehl P

I first contacted the company by email and received a very quick response. We then scheduled an appointment, and they came to my place to make a new car key. Israel provided excellent service from start to finish, both in customer service and in the quality of the product. Great experience! Locked myself out with a 9 week old puppy and the first company I contacted told me it would be 6+ hours before they could send someone. Tried Houdini and had help arrive within an hour! I recently got stuck outside of my unit after coming home from a walk with my 2 dogs when something broke inside the lock and it couldn’t be unlocked. I started calling locksmith companies closest to me first, explaining my situation and urgency, and the earliest anyone could make it to me for a service call was in 6+ hours. I had 2 dogs with me and no car keys to at least go somewhere while I waited so I was literally stuck. I then called HOUDINI Locksmith and the owner answered while on his way to another call. After explaining my situation he asked me my location and then said he could arrive in about 30 mins. Upon arrival and assessing the lock, he told me that the lock would have to be drilled open and then replaced. He explained to me all the details and costs up front. Thankfully he had an identical lock (standard lock for condos) on hand. Within 1 hour of my initial call, I was back in my unit and the whole job complete in 1.5 hours. I’m extremely grateful to Israel the owner for understanding my urgency and for his exceptional customer service and amazing professionalism. I am in in West End, Vancouver. Gentleman was here in less than 25 minutes and did quick work (like 3 minutes, lol). Fast, friendly and (compared to West End Locksmith - who wanted $280!!! for the same work) comparably affordable at $170 ($182 with taxes). This was after hours...like 19:30 on a Wednesday evening. ~ Bla B

Israel just left and finished the job about 2hrs after calling in Vancouver! Great service and even quicker response time which was very helpful as our lock stopped working after it being sticky for a couple of weeks. He was the only company to actually answer at 5am when I locked myself out of the house, the rest of the 24/7 locksmiths couldn't be bothered to answer the phone.. After two other places couldn't get it done, I called Houdini. They came to my apartment within an hour and replaced my "very difficult to program" Subaru FOB quickly and easily.
